If it says "restored" in the credits, it's under copyright. Video Yesteryear did file a registration:

I just checked. Nothing in the opening credits and just the material I previously posted at the end. All they did was tint, add English title cards, and provide a music bed. That is not "restoration"...it is manipulation.

Side note...

Video Yesteryear has nothing to do with this so-called "restoration"...it is Film Preservation Associates.
